TA Focus for the month

With the holidays approaching in less than 6 weeks, we start to turn our focus to safety in the water. This will involve water safety and swimming survival strokes at varying distances.

White Squad

Freestyle – We solidify all the work spent on techniques and core into swimming unassisted for a stronger stroke.

Backstroke – We revisit our turns and finishes for an even better and faster backstroke.

Breaststroke– We introduce and practice the Pullout for an even better start to our breaststroke.

Butterfly – We turn our focus to our butterfly breathing to help keep the butterfly stroke even smoother, faster, and easier to swim.

Silver Squad:

Freestyle – This block we incorporate kinetic chaining (body rotation) into the stroke for a faster and more efficient stroke.

Backstroke – We present the swimmer a challenge for a better backstroke start, strong swim and better body position.

Breaststroke – We explore and challenge the swimmer for an efficient movement through the water for their breaststroke for a smoother swim.

Butterfly –Similar to backstroke we challenge the swimmer for a better start to their swim.

Black Squad:

Freestyle –In this block we push the swimmer with strength, pace and distance to build a stronger and better swim.

Backstroke – We focus on head and positioning to achieve a better backstroke swim.

Breatstroke – For this block we layer body positioning and kinetic chaining for an improved breaststroke swim.

Butterfly –We revisit the timing and coordination for our butterfly arm strokes to solidify a stronger stroke.
